Hello, it’s Gumu!

Gumu is an Indonesian independent pop band composed of a group of friends who share a love for Japanese pop culture. The name Gumu comes from the katakana「グム」(read: gumu), a nickname given to Agum, the band’s leader, by his friends during his exchange program in Japan. Over time, the name stuck and eventually became a pen name for the stories they create.

More than just a band, Gumu is also a creative music circle called “Gumu’s Bedroom Studio.” Through this circle, they expand their music into storytelling, creating narratives based on their songs and bringing them to life through original animation works and visual storytelling in animated videos.

TL;DR: Just a bunch of otakus who dream of having an anime studio, but are probably too lazy to actually do it.
